GNAT Warns Members About Deceptive Tier-3 Pension Schemes from Unverified Companies

In a recent urgent notice, the General Secretary of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), Thomas T. Musah, has issued a cautionary message to GNAT members regarding deceptive Tier-3 pension schemes that some companies are promoting. GNAT is committed to protecting the interests of its members and ensuring their financial security, which is why this warning is of utmost importance.

The Deceptive Scheme Alert

It has come to the attention of GNAT's management that certain companies are attempting to deceive GNAT members into enrolling in a fraudulent Tier-3 pension scheme. These schemes are not affiliated with GNAT PROVIDENT FUND, the legitimate pension fund for GNAT members.

Beware of Imposters

GNAT members are strongly advised to exercise caution and vigilance when approached by these imposters promoting unauthorized pension schemes. The association emphasizes that members should only consider joining GNAT PROVIDENT FUND, the trusted and officially recognized pension fund endorsed by GNAT.

Join GNAT PROVIDENT FUND for Security

GNAT is actively taking steps to ensure that all GNAT members are registered with GNAT PROVIDENT FUND. This effort aims to guarantee the security and financial well-being of all members during their retirement years. Choosing GNAT PROVIDENT FUND means you are placing your trust in a fund that has your best interests at heart.

The message reads
