GES to Extend 2025 Teacher Promotion Application Deadline

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has committed to extending the deadline for the 2025 Teacher Promotion Application. The assurance comes as a direct response to technical challenges that have affected the application portal, disrupting the process for many prospective applicants.

In a statement, Daniel Fenyi of the GES emphasized the service's primary objective: to ensure a fair and "stress-free application process" for all eligible teachers. The statement highlighted that the extension will support every teacher who has served at least four years on their current rank and is due for promotion.

The GES has urged all prospective applicants to remain calm, as its technical team is working diligently to restore and improve the online system. The service confirmed that applicants will be formally notified as soon as the portal is fully operational, allowing them to proceed with their submissions.

This proactive measure by the GES aims to alleviate concerns among teachers and ensure that no eligible candidate is disadvantaged by the technical issues. The service remains committed to a transparent and credible promotion exercise.
