GES Requests for Data on Basic School Teachers and Learners

GES Requests for Data on Basic School Teachers and Learners; Data must be submitted online by November 30, 2023 via a google form

The Ghana Education Service (GES) is taking a proactive step to enhance teaching and learning in basic schools across the country. As part of its measures, the GES is collecting data on teachers and learners in all basic schools through a Google form.

Regional Directors of Education have been requested to share the link for the data collection and ensure that all heads of basic schools within their jurisdiction fill and submit the form by close of day Thursday, November 30, 2023.

The move is aimed at gathering accurate and up-to-date information on the number of teachers and learners in basic schools. This data will enable the GES to make informed decisions on resource allocation, staffing, and curriculum development.

The GES has assured that the data collected will be treated with confidentiality and used solely for educational purposes. It is hoped that this initiative will contribute to the overall improvement of education in Ghana, particularly at the basic level.

In a statement, Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, the Ag. Director of Schools and Instructions Division, called on all regional directors to cooperate fully with the exercise and ensure that all heads of basic schools participate.
