GES Releases 2025 School Placement

Ghana Education Service (GES) officially announced the release of the 2025 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results to all Regional Directors of Education. The letter directs the Regional Directors to promptly share this information with all District Directors of Education and Heads of schools in their area.

Key information from the announcement includes:

Admission Process: Schools must only admit students from the official CSSPS placement list unless they have written approval from the GES. Any unauthorized admissions will result in administrative penalties.

Reporting and Registration: Placed students should report to their assigned schools starting October 18, 2025. Heads of schools are responsible for ensuring a smooth registration process according to the provided guidelines.

Compliance: Regional and District Directors are instructed to monitor and provide supervision during the admission period to ensure a transparent and successful process for the 2025 academic year.

The letter was signed by Munawaru Issahaque, the Acting Deputy Director-General (Q & A) for the Acting Director-General.

TO ACCESS YOUR SCHOOL PLACEMENT, KINDLY FOLLOW THESE STEPS

> Log on to the site https://www.cssps.gov.gh  / https://www.cssps.gov.gh

> Enter your 10-digit BECE index number followed by the last 2 digits of the year of examination. For example 100000000025 for the year 2025

> Select candidate’s date of birth used for registration.

> Click sign in to view your placement slip.

> Select the Self Placement button to find a school if you are not automatically placed in any of your school choices.
