Management Cautions School Heads Against Unauthorised Registration of WASSCE Candidates

The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has observed that some Heads of Senior High Schools and Technical Schools are engaging in the unauthorised registration of Form Two students and/or private candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), often in exchange for fees.

2025/2026 Academic Year - Term 2: Get  ALL WEEKS Lesson Plans + Scheme of Learning for Second Term at a cool Ghc 10.00 Per Subject for a Class in word format (All Subjects for KG 1 to Basic 9)

Management wishes to state unequivocally that a Head of School is authorised to register only Form Three students, whose academic records and progression from year 1 to year 3 are traceable in the school’s database. The registration of Form Two students or private candidates by any school official is strictly prohibited.

Any Head or school official found to be involved in such unauthorised registrations, including the charging of monies for this purpose, is engaging in misconduct and abuse of office.

All Heads and schoolofficials are hereby cautioned that the breach of this directive will attract severe sanctions in accordance with GES and WAEC regulations, without exception.
